Growing up as an "Air Force Brat," Heather’s roots are planted deep in military history. Her family’s legacy spans generations, including her father (Air Force Active Duty & National Guard), her Great Aunt (Korean War), and relatives who served in every major conflict from WWII to today.

By day, Heather serves the military community as the Administrative Assistant at the Headquarters office of Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center. When she isn't at the post, she’s a dedicated volunteer with the USO, ensuring those who serve are always supported.

Heather joined our Board in 2022 after experiencing a flight firsthand as a guest. She was so moved by the "Honor Flight Magic"—the healing, the joy, and the seamless dedication of the volunteers—that she knew she had to be part of the leadership team.

"The most rewarding part is hearing the veterans' stories and watching their faces when they return home to the hero's welcome they deserve."
