Jim Swoboda

Jim is an avid photographer and Michigan’s natural wonders feature prominently in his portfolio.  He also free-lances and spends a lot of time at his local high school capturing moments of triumph in a variety of sporting events.  Jim is also the official photographer for two Honor Flight organizations, escorting aging veterans to Washington DC to recognize and thank them for their sacrifice and service.   When he’s not behind a camera, he’s active in his local community, serving on numerous boards.  His past board involvements included:

20+ years with Junior Achievement of the Michigan Great Lakes

20+ years as a member of Western Michigan University's Food Marketing Advisory Board

President of several Kentwood School Booster Groups

Immediate Past President of the Kentwood Public Schools Education Foundation

Current member of the City of Kentwood's Economic Development Corporation

Jim is married to Lori, his bride of 39 years. They have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
