Mark Juday
Director
Mark was born and raised in Petoskey Michigan. He is the proud father of two adult ladies, Ashleigh and Brooke. Mark is a residential builder by trade and has been self employed. When asked by a former MMHF board member to sign up to be a general guardian for Mission 13, from that mission on he has been involved. He felt that was the best and most rewarding money he had ever spent. In 2024 he was asked to become a board member for MMHF. It is a great
honor to have his partner Paula, also involved since 2022.
Mark has volunteered in other ways with veterans and a flagman for MIRA (Midwest International Racing Association) for many years. He has volunteered for The Soo I-500 snow mobile race in Sault St Marie Michigan, as a flagman since 2010. In 2014 veterans became involved in the starting of the race from an idea Mark had. He is involved with the Veterans program, presenting a new veteran each year with a green flag signed by all the racers that they get to start the race with and keep as a thank you for their service to our country. Mark has also served on the tax board of review for Melrose township. He was a girls volleyball coach for Boyne City Middle School and was a Sports Booster in Boyne City Michigan.
Mark hopes to be involved with MMHF for many years to come. He enjoys hearing veteran stories through the eyes of those that have served in the military. Mark feels that hearing their story helps them to heal if needed.
